THERE is a social networking site called Ziyakhala Inc set up by eThekwini businessmen.
“When I started this social network, I wanted to get people together. It was called Angel in a box, ”said Zondi.
Continuing he said but did not succeed even when he took a break from it.
“Then we met this year with four other entrepreneurs. Then we renamed it. It is difficult to get rights to add other things to it. We wanted to make the most of it to be able to support young people who are learning, ”Zondi explained.
He said they wished the Department of Education would help students, especially matriculants, to obtain previous examination papers.
“Today's kids are always tapping their cell phones, if they can have this social network and be able to access papers from years ago it would be great. If students can find their textbooks on this social media site it would be great. We want the Department of Education to help us, ”said Zondi.
Mzwandile Zondi, who works with Sithembiso on the social media platform, said they sat down with former Khozi FM presenter Ngizwe Mchunu under the nickname.
“We met with Mchunu to discuss and not pretend to have stolen his term. We spoke to him and he wished us all the best and said that he had never considered building a social media platform, ”said Mr Mzwandile.
