The National Examinations will be getting started on Wednesday the 27th of October 2021 .There are parents , guardians , learners and members of the community who may have been wondering if the learners will be safe during the examination period.
The Gauteng Education Department released a media statement and touched on that area . It was revealed that most of the teachers who will be invigilating were vaccinated against the pandemic . A few days ago , the health department gave a green light as well for some young learners below the age of 18 to get vaccinated .
A call was therefore made for those above the age of 12 to get vaccinated in order to help curb the spread of the pandemic .The department also notified that a classroom is going to have a maximum of 30 learners and that there is going to be one meter between the learners . Look at some of the measures that will be implemented in order to help make the examination centres safe from Covid-19.
