Schools were supposed to be opening on the 27th of this months, But judging by the looks of things it might not be possible for schools to be opening. The statics seems to be against all gatherings at all costs. Since things like funerals are still remaining the high risk for spreading this deadly disease.
Many people were expecting that Mr President Cyril Ramaphosa said will make an announcement regarding the opening of schools but he didn't, but surely he will an announcement regarding schools in his next speech. There's nothing that can be more dangerous than opening schools at this stage.
Before the schools closed last year we were having a problems were by the teachers and school kids were affected heavily by this disease, and when kids gets infected it surely means that the whole family of that kid is in danger of getting sick.
So until the the country is in a stable conditions were everything is in order that's then we can talk about returning kids to schools.
