Shudufadzo Musida, better known as Miss South Africa has graduated from Wits University. How? Some claim that it special treatment at its finest while the University sees it as a motivational gesture for their students. Even though it is known that her "graduation" was actually an interview, the stunt that was pulled by the Wits President Professor Zeblon Vilakazi portrayed the opposite.
The interview was treated like a graduation ceremony and in my view did not consider the feelings off others. I asked myself how other wits graduates felt after seeing this considering that some students were associates and even friends of Miss SA. "Dreams are valid" said Miss Shudu. Many dreamt of this moment and wanted their families to be with them on that special day.
Right now Social media is booming and this matter is recieving scrutiny from all angles. However I do believe that Miss South Africa is not at fault for this but even so, it is starting to corrode her image slowly.
This is what the masses had to say about this matter
As we all can see that tensions are high and feelings are all over the place, we ought to be proud of the class of 2020.
What are your thoughts on this matter? Did Miss SA get the treatment of a student or a celebrity?
