Bad news for teachers who refused covid-19 vaccine

KUALA LUMPUR: The Education Ministry will be making a move against more than 2,500 educators who decided not to be immunized against Covid-19.

Datuk Dr. Mohd Radzi Md Jidin (pic) said his service, along with the Public Service Department, was seeing what move could be made.

"The activity we are taking a gander at is with regards to public help strategy and laws.

"He said they would not be permitted to show classes face to face and would likewise be separated from different educators when they report to a school," he told columnists during a joint question and answer session with Senior Minister (Security) Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein on Wednesday.

He said the 2,500 figure was little in contrast with the almost 500,000 instructors across the country, yet the wellbeing of understudies was central.

"The wellbeing of the kids is our main concern. We are concentrating on the best game-plan on this matter," he said.
