The Department of Basic Education has released the 2020 grade 12 results. The pass rate for the year 2020 matric examination has dropped to 76.2. The drop is attributed to the interruptions experienced by schools last year. The minister was upbeat about the results praising teachers for their sterling work in the mist of the deadly pandemic.
