NSFAS recently opened a second chance for all those who were not funded this year but now they have closed. She applied for NSFAS and her application was indeed successful but when she checked her status online her application was cancelled. When she calls or try to contact them she has no luck.
This student from Walter Sisulu University Butterworth Campus wrote to us on Facebook regarding this issue, she is in tears because of this. She said she has been struggling the whole year and now she thought everything was going to be alright but nothing seems to be alright.
She also said that she has been trying to contact the university FAB office but there has been no luck. Anyone who can assist please help her. She is currently home because she had no money to rent and no food to eat so she went back home and since she lost her grandmother in June this year she has not been able to pay her rent. She also wants to deregister because she does not see a way forward. This is such a sad thing for a young student to go through.
This is her message :
This is also her status, it went back to 2019 which means she will not get her money this year. If anyone is willing to help her they can comment down below.
