They Want To See The University's Decision On A White Student Who Urinated On A Black Student Things

It is considered a criminal offense for a white student to be seen urinating on another student's property at Stellenbosch University.

This was evident in a video circulated on social media where a student named Theuns du Toit was accused of urinating on the clothes of a black student in a student residence, Huis Marais over the weekend.

The university's director of student affairs, Choice Makhetha, said the administration was busy drafting policies that would ensure proper disciplinary action.

The suspect's actions sparked outrage and complaints from university students. Although the student is still suspended from his studies, student and university unions have even suggested that he should be expelled and not be allowed to enroll in other universities even in private.

Universities SA, which represents 26 tertiary institutions in the country, said the alleged student's actions were totally unacceptable and should have been prosecuted.

"He should be fired and not be allowed to enroll in other institutions of higher learning, even private ones," the organization said
