Stellenbosch University black student makes a surprising turn in a show of great humanity and class

In a fresh turn of events the black Stellenbosnch University student whose belongings were urinated at by a white student has decided not to press any charges against him.

This was confirmed by the victim's father, Mkuseli Kaduka, his son's name is Babalo Ndwayana.

“My son is now feeling sorry for the boy and he feels that a prolonged court case will make him lose focus on his studies,” Kaduka told Weekend Argus on Tuesday morning.

“I’m looking at options of laying the charges myself on his behalf,” he said.

The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday morning and the perpetrator has been identified as Theuns du Toit. He has since been suspended from the varsity.

“The alleged perpetrator was suspended from the university today."

“A further swift but detailed investigation will determine the final outcome," said Martin Viljoen, spokesperson for the university after the incident.

Theuns did apologise afterwards but his apology was criticised for not being sincere, it is as if he was forced to do so.

If you were the victim's father would you open a case yourself on behalf of him or would you respect his decision? Let us know your own opinion on this. Thank You.
