Veronica reportedly highlighted that the Covid-19 pandemic had led to disruptions of education at the school and added that it would be a good decision if the government would avoid further disruptions as a result of the teachers' shortages.

It is reported that the school had been shut down for a week as a result of the shortage of teachers. The school reportedly got shut down in protests over shortage of teachers and some staff members.

A report highlighted that the parents were not happy about the government which has failed to resolve the issue of shortages of teachers at the school, with concerns over the matriculant learners who have been without a history teacher for more than a month already.
