Kwanhlanga Secondary School, Kgothatso Mpaka is an overall top achiever in Mpumalanga province for matric 2021. Kgothatso obtained seven distinctions, she is also the leading candidate nationally in the quintal 2 schools.

Mpumalanga premiere, Refilwe Mtshweni-Tsipane congratulated her on her achievements during the matric results announcement at the University of Mpumalanga in Mbombela.

The premier further presented her with a brand new car, Kgothatso also received a consignment of gifts. For her achievements,bThe Department awarded her with a bursary which caters for tuition, accommodation,books and a monthly stipend.

1. R10 000 from Standard Bank.

2. R10 000 from SASOL for being the best student in Mathematics.

3. R10 000 from SASOL for being the best student in Physics.

4. R10 000+laptop bag from SAICA for being the best student in Accounting.

5. R10 000 from IDC for being the best student in quintile 2.

Some of the gifts includes, tablets and data from Vodacom,laggage bag, Sandwich maker, Travel bag, Sports bag, Bar fridge, microwave and a Kettle.
