Stellenbosch University has for sometime been accused of being a breeding ground for racism. Apparently the government has ignored the issue and allowed the institution to humiliate and degrade black students for years. The level of depression and anxiety that black students have to suffer in the hands of this university is unbearable.
Now a black Stellenbosch University student's belongings were urinated on in an alleged racist incident. There is a video making rounds on social media of the white student who committed the action as the black student took a video asking why the white boy was doing all that.
The makeup of the university is predominantly white which leaves most black students vulnerable as they are apparently over populated by hostile white students. According to reports, the University of Stellenbosch SRC says it is working with relevant stakeholders to ensure that 'all necessary procedures are followed' in the latest racist incident to emerge from the institution.
The Stellenbosch University video is appalling and disgusting behavior, who can think and believe that we still live amongst such cruel individuals, especially in this day and age, because that is absolutely inhumane.
Simangaliso who shared the video captioned it, "A white student urinates all over a black first year students room, claims this what 'they' do to black boys. I cannot keep quiet about this, justice need to be served. I urge you to play your part so this cannot be covered up." What does he even mean when he says, "this is what we do to black boys."
