Social media has had a golden opportunity to witness a beautiful story of a young woman that has been able to weather through the storm to achieve her major goal. It’s never easy playing different roles in life that require your full attention, dedication and love. However, nothing is impossible if you’re willing to work for it. A Twitter user by the name of @SithaleKgaogelo has given hope within his timeline by sharing an inspirational story of Lisa Majenge Mthembu who recently graduated. “Life has no formula,” said @SithaleKgaogelo on Twitter sharing the amazing Facebook screenshots of Majenge’s story.
In her own words, “It didn’t happen ‘by the book’ for me.” As she had to stay strong throughout her trials and tribulations after enrolling to study at a Nursing School. Even though she did incredibly well to graduate but she wanted to let people know that journeys are different. And people need to fall in love with their journeys and keep on moving forward to achieve their ultimate goals. Not everyone will finish their high school education, then go to university, graduate and then get their dream occupation. Life isn’t as smooth as we might think it is when we’re still in lower grades at schools. There’s a lot of challenges that come within it, especially after completing matric.
Lisa was able to find love, which led to marriage and that was an amazing feeling being with someone that she loves unconditionally. It was inevitable that they will start a family, which happened accordingly too but Lisa had a dream of going back to school to further her studies. That’s when she went to nursing school, despite being a wife and a mother to two gorgeous children; Phawu and Liya. In most cases, women would throw away the towel on their dreams once they’re parents but not Lisa as she kept her vision alive through it all. “I’m to remind you that our journeys are unique and I wouldn’t have had it any other way for me because this was my proudest moment having experienced it with my husband and our two kids!” said Majenge on her Facebook post inspiring other people to go after what they want in life despite the trials and tribulations.
