It has been great happiness for Mrs Elizabeth Yamoah to celebrate the completion of the Basic Certificate Examination-BECE examination which ended on 18 September 2020. This certificate is a completion. Ms. Elizabeth, 60 and a mother of four amid the ridicule and despondency she went through sat at the BECE that began on Monday, September 14, 2020, until today, Friday, September 18, 2020.
Elizabeth Yamoah is part of the new BECE students batch graduating from the Odoben Presby Simple "A" Junior High School this year. Speaking to news after she wrote her last article, Auntie Lizzie, as her fellow students call her, she said she was pleased to have taken a bold step towards her goals by writing the BECE to become a nurse.
According to her, the successful completion of the BECE test would give her the opportunity to join the Senior High School where she will also sit for the WASSCE and then eventually reach out to her childhood aspirations of becoming health workers.
