A protest gone wrong in Effingham Secondary School

Thursday is the first day of early voting in Effingham County for the June 28 primary.The only contested primary race for Effingham County Board is in District H between Republicans Dale Wallace of Effingham and Sandra L. Gillet of Watson. The winner of the primary will represent the Republican party in the general election in November for a seat being vacated by Rob Arnold, who is not running for reelection. No Democrats are running in the primary for District H.
