Aside from gratitude, it’s just pure joy, excitement, and hope," said the exceptional student speaking to the media.

Bongwe stated that his success was based on his work he put in consistently and prioritising his studies more than anything. The intellectual young man said that he's speechless at how everything turned out. But he's excited for being a top achiever. “I got nine distinctions in all nine subjects, and by seeing these blistering results left me in joy, even my mom was excited... It’s so difficult to put into words all that I’m feeling and thinking right now. I do know that gratitude is a huge part of that,” said the matric achiever.
