Department of Education Reveal Date Of School Re-Open
There has been some arguments whether schools should open on the 27th January or February 2021. Many peoe have been stressing more special teachers who are currently marking grade 12 exam papers. More tham 100 teachers have died so far and department of education are pushing to get done with grade 12 exams. Matric result will be out on the 22 February, Despite COVID-19 Matric exam marking going well.
When the President Cyril Ramaphosa addressed the nation on Monday we were hoping that he will also address schools reopen date. During his address, President Cyril Ramaphosa said the National Coronavirus Command Council is in discussions about schools reopening amid the increase in COVID-19 cases.
And on Tuesday when Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma gives updates we were hoping that sje will also address the school reopen but still no news. What we know is that school is expected to open on 27 January thats according to the 2021 calendar.
There has been rumours that the Department of Education and thr Unions are still in discussion of when school can open. We hope that very soon they give us updates.
There was also rumours that if the numbers 9f Covid-19 continues to increase department of Education can introduce the last strategy when attending class. Departments of Education have also created a software app that can educate learnera on internet for public schools.
