JUST IN: Slindile Cele passes her matric at age 31

Slindile Cele is a 31 year old mother from Ndwedwe in KZN who has just recently passed her matric. Cele has revived hope of the South Africans and serves as an inspiration to many.

The 31 year old mother decided to go back to school and obtain her matric as she has a dream of being a nurse. Slindile had just given birth in August 2020. Goal driven Slindile went back to school after she failed her matric in 2006.

Slindile reflected on how she was a laughing stock when she decided to go back to school. She metioned that her relatives did not understand the idea of her going back to school but she knew what she wanted and she made it possible.

Although things were tough for Slindile as she had to take her daughter to creche when she enrolled for matric, she reflected on how she sometimes slept on an empty stomach. She obtained her grade 12 and proud Slindile wants to pursue her dream of being a nurse.
