A video of a student being dragged by an ADT security officer with a weapon leveled at her has gone viral.
A white police officer is shown brandishing a weapon towards an unarmed black male student.
When the student tries to assist the female student who is lying on the ground, he is accosted by the officer, who brandishes his firearm directly at him.
It's unclear what happened at the school right now, but it's thought that students were protesting prejudice.
A SAPS officer slapped another female student across the face. The student revealed how she was manhandled and abused by a SAPS officer.
She also alleges she was threatened with a gun and was on the verge of being arrested for something she didn't do.
The photograph of the white officer with a weapon leveled at a student has now sparked widespread outrage on social media.
Many people have said that the photograph reminds them of images from apartheid South Africa, when unarmed students were shot.
Rubber bullets were used to disperse the students, according to reports.
