The matric results came out last week on Friday. Thousands of matric pupils visited schools to receive their statements of results. Many were crying tears of joy while others were sad.
Those who made it, the road to finding a space began. Unfortunately for some either they did not apply or were not accepted in their chosen careers.
University of Venda laid down the law to thousands of students hoping to get space at the institution. Contrary to what people read on social media, the application for admission to the university closed on the 31st of December.
The university emphasized that no late applications will be opened and no walk-ins will be allowed. Potential students are as also advised not to visit the institution but instead wait for an invitation to do so.
The class of 2022 should learn from the mistakes of their predecessors and apply for admission as early as possible once applications are open.
