OPINION
South Africa is a democratic and diverse country which allows every individual a freedom of speech and for people to be seen and respected for who they are regardless of their colour.
Someone shared a picture of students who seem to be praying and emphasized that, there are politicians that would not like to see that.
"This is what some politicians fear the most", read the tweet
"Pretentious unity premised on the illustrations idea of a non existent rainbow nation, count me out", one commented.
" You can not celebrate this picture whilst only the rich can get quality education ", another commented.
"The question we should all ask is if (assuming the picture in itself is not staged) we are okay with each other in school, why does it change after? Voting in opposite directions suggests it is not okay at that point in time", another added
