The Department of Basic Education recently announced the National Senior Certificate timetable or the 2021 matric timetable. Despite being disturbed by the Coronavirus pandemic, the wait is over and pupils have to write their final exams under Covid-19 regulations.
Since president Cyril Ramaphosa and the department of health said that people from the age of 15 and 18 can get vaccinated, this allows the matriculants to get their jabs so they're safe throughout the examination.
In very own opinion, the Covid-19 vaccines should be compulsory to all pupils before they could seat down and write their final examination because if one is not vaccinated automatically places other learners at risk for contacting covid-19.
Some schools they have over 500 learners and to keep them in one classroom when writing subjects like English and Home language increase the chances of Coronavirus to spread very quickly.
Many South Africans are still afraid to get vaccinated while president Cyril Ramaphosa assured the nation that the vaccine is good and healthy.
The grade 12s need to get vaccinated before the beginning of their exams so that the virus doesn't spread.
