Education is one of the most important foundations on which the world is built. The ability to stand in front of pupils and educate to their level of understanding is a critical component of education that not all teachers possess. As part of her appearance on the Anopa Bofo show this morning, during which the concerns surrounding a teacher who was patching a school roofing sheet in Abitifi North were discussed, Nana Yaa Brefo asserted herself over her daughters' marriages to teachers in Ghana.
Some of Ghana's schools have inadequate structures or infrastructures that make it difficult for students to engage in effective teaching and learning activities. Additionally, there are several important challenges that need to be addressed in the education sector.
It is reported that the living conditions of teachers in this country are quite poor, according to Nana Brefo. Some of them even struggle to eat three meals a day, let alone three times a day. Therefore, she will not allow any of her daughters to marry a teacher from Ghana as a result of this experience.
I will not allow any of my daughters to marry a Ghanaian teacher, as this is against my beliefs. Even a close relative who is not my daughter has expressed concern. Teachers in this country are subjected to far too many hardships.- Nana Yaa Brefo offers some suggestions
