"This is money in our country only used by people who speak a certain language." - Panyaza Lesufi

Orania, an Afrikaner town located in South Africa along the Orange River is under fire for betraying what should be a non- racial South Africa.

Orania was founded by Carel Boshoff. His idea was to have a white only area which was proposed in 1980 and officially created in 1991. South African's are shocked that such a town still exists until today.

In a twitter post today, Gauteng MEC of Education Panyazi Lesufi expressed his anger towards an only white town which has its own flag and uses its own currency caleed the Ora and that its still being allowed to exist by the South African Government.

According to reports by the guardian, Orania's economy is apparently booming.

The town has remained very quiet and many South African's do not even know the existence of this town. Lesufi says Orania has run its course and its time for it to end.
