University is one place a pupil wants see himself/herself at, and not making it can be very frustrating and depressing. It is not the end of the road, as there are other things you can still do.
1. Rewrite or Upgrade your Matric
Department of Basic Education has a second-chance program, aimed at those who still have the dream of going to varsity. The program helps you achieve the National Senior Certificate or Senior Certificate. Other Private institutions can also assist you to achieve your goal.
2. Apply for an Internship or Learnership
A great way to gain experience. As we all know companies want candidates with skills and experience in the business world. This learning program helps you study while working, great right! In the end of the program you have gained skills as well as a Certificate.
3. Consider a TVET College
If you are passionate about studying and didn't get accepted in university, this is an incredible option too. You can study a course of you choice and get a Certificate.
4.Find a Job
With the spiking statistics of unemployment since the pandemic, finding a job can be like finding a needle in a haystack. Applying at different places for employment can help boost your chances of getting employed, even if it is temporary work.
