South African Universities with no Application Fee

It is that time of the year again, where learners are applying at institutions of higher learning with the aim to secure space for the following academic year. The sad reality about this time is that not every household has money to spare.

Learners are usually encouraged to increase they absorption by applying to multiple institutions. This can escalate the cost to be between R500 to R1000 for a minimum of three institutions.

Various institutions have demonstrated understanding the difficult conditions most households live under. With the Covid-19, the situation has worsened. Therefore this gesture makes it attractive for learners from such households to apply and stand a chance to get space at an institution of higher learning besides their current financial background.

Learners are accepted at institutions of higher learning based on being academically deserving and compared to their ability to pay an amount that ranges between R100 to R400.

Therefore these are the institutions that can be approached for applications.

University of Johannesburg,

North West University,

University of Free State,

Walter Sisulu University,

and University of the Western Cape.
