It looks and great, it's ready to bring and develop great young minds in South Africa. The state of the art Anton Lembede Mathematics, Science and Technology Academy was officially opened this morning, 15 February 2021 as learners prepare to go back to school. The academy was officially opened in Durban by KwaZulu Natal Premier Sihle Zikalala, Minister Senzo Mchunu and KZN Education MEC, Kwazi Mshengu. It was reported by News reporter Nabeelah Shaikh that the state of the art academy cost a whopping R225 million.

The reader can find the academy located in La Mercy, Durban and it is mainly focused on four key educational sectors such as Mathematics, Science, Technology and the fourth industrial revolution. The Anton Lembede academy contains facilities such as 20 classrooms excluding 1 specialist classroom, a library, 3 computer laboratory and 3 science laboratories. It will accommodate an incredible 600 learners for the year, 2021.
The nation needs more schools or academies such as this one or even better but South Africa faces a major problem, Unemployment and unemployed citizens are mostly young parents and matures parents who make up a incredible number in the unemployment statistics and how can we forget youth employment. Only a few can afford schools or academies like this one, Anton Lembede Mathematics, Science and Technology Academy. Many citizens in South Africa hope that this state of the art academy comes with a state-of-the-art security to help prevent burglars and thieves in the night.
