University of Limpopo students cries out. Students are complaining about not receiving their February allowance, they are starving in their rooms some are being threatened by landlords since they didn't pay their rents.
It is allegedly that University of Limpopo management is stealing NSFAS money that's meant for the students. The news was brought forward by some students who said they only failed one module and now they not receive their allowance.
NSFAS made it clear that all NSFAS beneficiaries will continue to receive their December, January and February 2021 allowance. However Prof Mokgalong and management keeps sending communiques that only students who are due to write examinations (main-exams, supplementary and Re-write) will only receive allowance which did not happen.
It is alleged that Prof Mokgalong and the university management chosen their own SRC called TSRC which it's aim is to destroy dreams of the current and future students.
Students says they did not vote for Sekedi Mabatha and Thapelo Molepo, they were supposed to represent the students. Students are now threatening to burn and destroy the university.
