The curtain is about to fall on the class of 2021. They have fought have fought the good fight and now it is time to reap what they sow. There will be tears of joy and anguish on the morning of Friday the 21st.
The 2021 Matric top achievers have arrived safely in Gauteng according to the Department of Basic Education spokesperson Elijah Mhlanga. He even joked that they look nervous.
The minister will tomorrow have breakfast with them and take them to a few press briefings before we all see them at 18H00 during the announcement of the results.
The top achievers will be presented with gifts from various sponsors. They are the chosen few amount thousands of their colleagues. The nation will get to know their names and schools they come from.
The results of the class of 2021 National Senior Certificate will be announced live on SABC and Etv channels. It is usually the most watched event on television.
