Mmapaseka Mokwele who is now a life coach is a South African media personality who previously served as a host on Kaya FM for the Home With Mapaseka Mokwele show. She is popular known for being part of the South African Broadcasting Commission (SABC) news department. Mokwele was also a presenter for "Your own business".After all the delays that came with the deadly virus being Covid-19 attacking the whole world, Mmapaseka was finally yesterday able to attend a graduation ceremony and graduated for her Master's obtained from the University of Witswatersrand known as Wits.
Just like Mmabatho Montsho, Mmapaseka successfully completed studying for her Master's way before Covid-19 came to Mzansi. However, she did not agree to the virtual graduations which many were forced to be part of and choose to wait for the day whereby she is able to walk on stage collecting what she has worked hard for. Because, it took some time to happen, she lost interest in graduation.
Mmapaseka took to Instagram sharing beautiful pictures of her graduation announcing that she finally walked on stage and graduated after having lost interest in doing so.
"This grad on it's own has been quite a journey. Finished this Master's late 2019/early 2020. Enter Covid, choose to not graduate virtually because i wanted to walk across the stage, i worked hard for this and wanted to celebrate fully", Mmapaseka on Instagram said.
"Soon gave up on that dream and thought OK let's just do it. Was given the wrong virtual grad date so i missed it. Then i thought ok just fetch your certificate, last week i received an email saying grad is on Monday and my supporters insisted i attend. I was already over it. I am proud of my hard work, i am a master. Master Mmapaseka Mokwele",she added.
Mokwele who has just graduated called it quits and left the radio world in 2019 and then later became a coach assisting many in dealing with different life stages or situations. So far, she been doing well with coaching, receiving positive responses from the public and does not seem to regret her decision of calling it quits and leaving the entertainment industry.
