In 2020 , there were incidences which saw the NSC Examinations losing their integrity .These included the leaking of some examination papers and some activities by some candidates .However , on Friday the 22nd of October , the Gauteng learners were made to sign a pledge as a way of committing them to comply with the proper conduct during the Examinations .
The candidates were also made to sign the Commitment Agreement which ensures that their parents and the department of education stick to the regulations that govern the running of the examinations . These measures that have been initiated by the Gauteng Department of Education will go a long way in ensuring that there is no cheating or any illegal activities during the examination time . The Gauteng Department of Education has the right to use the documents that were signed on Friday against those who may be found on the wrong side .
