Good News To The Alcohol Industry || See Why

It has been few hours since the president of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa has addressed the nation on certain development that has occurred in the country. This includes the recent decline in the Covid-19 daily cases of which they are no longer increasing than before, but this time around cases have been increasing at a steep rate and won't pose any threat to the country.

This is because the more daily cases are increasing, the more public and private hospitals will be overwhelmed by the number of patients admitted in a day. This is because only the coronavirus cases only increase when special events dates get nearer.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced the good news to the alcohol industry. This is because whenever the president addresses the nation, there is always a 100% glimpse that the president might lift the alcohol ban of which that decision impacts the economic performance as the alcohol industry is the largest contributing factor.

This can't be denied as the last time Cyril Ramaphosa imposed the alcohol ban, South Africa's economy was highly affected by the poor performance of the alcohol ban.

The president announced that the country will be moving on alert level 1 lockdown starting in the new month of October. This comes after the president had meant with the Coronavirus Command Council in which a decision was taken that the country must be moved from alert level 2 to level 1.

This decision was influenced by the upcoming local government election which will be held on the 1st of November 2021. Ramaphosa also announced that the selling of alcohol for onsite and offsite consumption will have to be part of the level 1 restriction and these new changes will lead to a much greater economic performance.

Alcohol consumption for onsite consumption will be opened from 08h00 to 23h00 and for offsite consumption will be from 08h00 to 22h00 and the curfew will start from 00h00 to 04h00 in the morning.

What is your intake on this and what do you think about the few changes made by the president?
