When you were declined from the social relief distress grant of R350 for covid-19, I have the good news for you, all you need to do is do and follow these easy steps to appeal.

A week ago there was a high volume of complains from the people who were benefiting from the grant who were stating that their status are showing that they are declined, with different reasons but commonly was the source of income that was identified by SASSA.

As many felt that's it was an unfair decline, they were asked to appeal through the website srd.dsd.gov.za/appeals this link it will take you straight to the appealing section, where you will be asked to enter the same information that you have used when you registering for your grant , the information that required :-

1. South African ID number

2. A cellphone number that was used when applying for a grant.

After entering these details, you will be asked to enter the OTP NUMBER , it will be sent to your number. You may also be asked few questions related to the reason for decline.
