SA attack Cyril for approving $8.5b to move away from coal, see what SA says about President Cyril

President Cyril Ramaphosa has taken a major step in moving South Africa away from its dependency on coal energy, which will unlock approximately $8.5 billion (R140 billion) worth of investment opportunities for the country.

The president has green-lit the Just Transition Framework, which, under the Presidential Climate Commission, will set out policy measures and undertakings by different social partners to minimize the social and economic impacts of the long-term move away from coal.

This is what corruption is; Motsepe takes money from ABSA to build the biggest wind and solar farm in Africa, assures them that Ramaphosa will jump on board. He now approves $8.5bn plan, who benefits from this? Motsepe, Cyril Ramaphosa’s brother-in-law. Motsepe planned ahead & realized that whoever offers alternative, reliable clean energy for South Africa will cash in. The bank approved his proposal. And yes, he won. No corruption. Just money going where the money is. There’s no planning ahead. We don't have an energy crisis in this country, we have a Motsepe and Ramaphosa family crisis wanting to monopolize energy. 2018 Eskom gets defunded, 2018 Motsepe and Co get IPP contracts, suddenly there’s no generation capacity, load shedding is back, wind and solar farms are expensive to construct, exceeding a billion for 100MW, but low ROI. Cyril becomes an Advocate for REIPP, looking out for his brother's interests, simply put, for Motsepe to make money, they need to get Eskom out of the picture. The region should learn from each other. 1990 Zimbabwe was paid to adopt the ESAP program from IMF, and it caused an economic meltdown and so much hunger. RES is being thrown out as only base load by EU and yet SA is adopting it. Make it make sense. Our president is just delivering his end of the deal to his masters, we are just collateral damage. Moving away for coal and selling it to those that encouraged you to discontinue using it?

It’s because South Africans didn’t vote for him directly, they voted for his political party, and they make the decisions. This is what I was scared off when Cyril took the reins. Coal is our economic backbone. What will we be without the coal economy? What will mpumalanga highveld be? These same people are coming to buy this coal at a steel price. We need to decline this move.
