Nationalism is what Africans achieved after independence. It is the African thing to hate each other and be tribalist. You can not go to Zimbabwe and sell on the pavement street from South Africa. Even the poorest countries like Malawi, they don't want foreigners and how can Africans be united. African's hate for each is too deep.

In a video a Nigerian official is heard saying, " we demand all foreigners to leave our market and shut their shops." He went on to say, "our local businesses are dying and our businesses are collapsing." Foreign nationals are not permited to do business in their markets

So, you won't fault people's like Mario Khumalo and Herman Mashaba for wanting the South African government to prioritize South Africans. Europe is borderless for Europeans and they are using one Currency the Euros. Julius Malema's project needs of United Africa is impossible with these old leaders in charge.
