Two load shedding events plan by Eskom

Eskom has declared that stage 2 burden shedding will be executed from 14h00 on Wednesday (17 November) until 05h00 on Saturday (20 November). 

The power utility said the blackouts are because of the continuous lacking age limit and the passing of a unit each at Medupi, Duvha and Kendal power stations toward the beginning of today. 

Stage 2 burden shedding will be carried out from 14h00 today until 05h00 on Saturday 20 November. This is to safeguard the excess crisis holds at the OCGT and siphon stockpiling power stations to forestall higher phases of burden shedding.

Of the five units that flopped yesterday, a unit at Majuba, Kriel and Matimba power stations have gotten back to support while the excess two units are going through kettle tube spill fixes.
