A report has been issued regarding what awaits South African motorists as from Wednesday next week . This s because the motorists will have to dig deeper into their pockets to pay for their fuel , as there was an announcement that fuel would be increasing in terms of prices .
The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy Mr Gwede Mantashe made a confirmation that there would be an increase in terms of prices for fuel for South African motorists .Both blends of petrol are expected to have its price increase by R1.46 per litre .
Diesel is expected to have its price increased by R1.48 per litre . The government is reported to have attributed the spike in fuel to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine The spoksperson for AA , Layton Beard made a prediction that the month of March would be a tough one for the motorists .He said that a lot would have to be determined in the coming weeks .
