SAD: Post Offices will no longer be paying R350 grant beneficiaries

South African Post Office (SAPO) has announced that they will no longer be paying R350 grant beneficiaries at the post offices around the country.

According to The South African, the South African Post Office has decided to withdraw themselves from paying Sassa R350 grant beneficiaries due to the corruption that was reported in the branches.

The South African announced on Monday that there is an investigation that is currently taking place, regarding the R50 that is asked by their cashiers in order to jump queues from the beneficiaries.

The spokesperson of the South African Post Office, Johan Kruger, has pleaded with those who were collecting their R350 grants at the post offices to now choose alternative methods in order to get their money.

There are plenty of other methods people can use now, including the method of collecting the money at the South African supermarkets including Boxer, Pick n Pay, Shoprite and co.
