The country of Zimbabwe today received 200 000 Covid-19 vaccines doses on the early morning hours of Monday.
This comes at a time when Zimbabwe is in the midst of fighting against the pandemic that has claimed lives of many people. The company from China made the donations to the Zimbabwean people.
Zimbabwe and China enjoy good relations dating back to the era of the late President of Zimbabwe Mr Robert Gabriel Mugabe.
Zimbabwe has benefitted a lot from China in recent years and China continues to play a huge role in the economy of the former bread basket of Southern Africa .
The Herald news has reported of yet another development that is set to benefit the people of Zimbabwe and China. Its reported that a Zimbabwe and Chinese Citrus deal is likely to lead to many developments in Zimbabwe.
Its reported that Zimbabwe and China are set to sign a citrus fruits export agreement which has been described by the Zimtrade as a form of transformation for the Agricultural sector.

Moving on , the deal is expected to benefit China and Zimbabwe through enhancing cooperation between the two nations.The deal is also set to open up doors for the local Zimbabweans who rely on the international markets.
This agreement is under the country of Zimbabwe's National Development Strategy, a blue print whose aim is to enhance the lives of Zimbabweans.
The National Development Strategy is an economic blueprint that was initiated by the Zimbabwean government as a way of promoting the growth of the economy of Zimbabwe which has been hard hit by a number of factors.
The blueprint wants realisation of growth in exports' quality and quantity. It is reported that Zimtrade , which is the country's export development agent is in the midst of negotiating the Zimbabwe/China Citrus fruits exports deal.
Allan Majuru , who is the chief executive of Zimtrade is reported by the Herald as having highlighted that the Citrus fruits export deal is going to be beneficial to the Zimbabwean farmers.
He said that the deal will see the Zimbabwean farmers having access to markets that are worth US$500-million on a yearly basis.

Moving on , the deal is reported to have the potential to remove some barriers which have been blocking the success of the local Zimbabweans farmers.
Majuru is reported to have highlighted that in order for exports to take place , there are some protocols that have to be followed before the movement of the products takes place.
He added that this Citrus fruits export deal will enable the farmers to have direct access to the markets.Majuru would go on and highlight that venturing into the Chinese markets by Zimbabweans is a good move that will help the Zimbabweans not to rely on the European markets to make incomes.
