Because of the large number of Crypto Currency scammers out there and the abundance of people being scammed out of their money. It's important to be careful that you don't fall victims to one of these scams. That's why you need to watch out for the signs of them. So here are three signs that you are dealing with a Crypto Currency Scammer.
They Make a lot of Big Promises :
One of the things scammers may do is message you with big promises. These can be promises of free money, promises to multiply your money or promises to make you rich. Don't fall for these promises, because usually if something is too good to be true, its probably a lie and you could end up losing your money to a criminal.
The Way they Speak :
Always pay attention to the way a person speaks. Crypto Currency scammers may send emails or make posts on social media. However these posts are often badly written with a lot of misspelled words and typos. If you see this, avoid them at all cost. As someone who can't properly explain something, probably doesn't know how to do it.
Unfortunately some criminals may even try manipulative ways to get you to send them Cryptocurrency. These can be Blackmail, Extortion and even threats of imprisonment. Do not fall for or be frightened by their threats. They most probably don't have the power over you that they pretend they do.
How to avoid these criminals :
I suggest that you do not contact people online who deal with Crypto Currency, unless they are from a legitimate company. If they message you. Do not reply to them under any circumstances.
If you find that these criminals are threatening or blackmailing you, screenshot all the chats and report them to the social media site that they have contacted you on.
