Sassa SRD R350 Info: Why SRD Applications Are Declined? | Reasons and Solutions

Applications for SRD Grants are typically rejected for a variety of reasons. Applications for the R350 stipend must meet certain criteria, according to Sassa. We discuss some of the causes for these applications being rejected as well as possible solutions.

You must meet a number of requirements that Sassa has outlined in order for you to be approved for the SRD Grant. Before submitting your application, review all the information on the SRD website.

If the client disagrees with the rejected decision, they have the right to request a reconsideration or an appeal. Since the validity of this grant is determined on a monthly basis, each time an application is rejected, a request for reconsideration must be made, even if the grounds for both the rejection and the appeal are the same.

If the client wants to contest the decision, they can submit an application for reconsideration through the SRD website at this address https://srd.sassa.gov.za/reconsideration. Due to the monthly evaluation of applications, you may appeal at any time. If you are declined again, you can still appeal for the following month. Each decline only applies to that particular month.
