Over R500 million invested in SMMEs - Cyril Ramaphosa

South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa in a recent statement on social media has stated that over R500 million has been invested in SMMEs in the country.

This investment was made to support entrepreneurs in the manufacturing industries.

"Over R500 million has been invested in SMMEs through the Small Enterprise Manufacturing Support Programme to promote the growth of successful entrepreneurs in the manufacturing industry."

Some South African nationals have reacted to this in different ways, take a look at some of their responses below;

@volkwyn4 tweeted,

"Keep People with long noses/fingers away please."

@Fifstaref tweeted,

"That's a lie. It's difficult to get funding, you need connections for this, which some of us don't have."
