It is bad news for the South Africans as loadshedding returned on Saturday evening. Stage 2 loadshedding which got underway on Saturday evening at 21:00 is scheduled to continue until 05:00 on Monday .This is being done as part of efforts to replenish emergency generation reserves for the upcoming week .This initiative comes some days after the loadshedding came to an end after some of the generation units broke down.
The members of the community need to download the Eskom App in order to find out the schedule for their respective areas .Knowledge on when the Loadshedding will be conducted is important for the purposes of planning.
The loadshedding is reported to have resulted from the fact that most of the generation units are underperforming. This loadshedding is aimed at preparing the country for the upcoming week. There is hope that the power company will be able to rectify the problem and avail electricity.
