OPINION| How Can Ramaphosa Promise to Continue With Grants Instead of Building Houses for the Poor

Thousands of suspended public officials on full pay. Some cases are now more than 5 years, unknown company awarded R500 million Covid PPE tender without following procurement procedures by SAPS. SAPS has spent R1.6 Billion on PPE tenders and still have no vehicles to attended to some reports by communities. They can't even fix the police stations, let alone dealing with crime. SARS collects tax money and hand it over to the Criminals while threatening honest tax payers, so are the days of our lives. Ask yourself about accountability and oversight

Mr President, very often when elections approach (be it local or national) service delivery at the local government is the area of dissatisfaction. Very few of the legislature houses have come up with remarkable with sensible reforms assisting the country. Given that,these reps have been elected from, I suppose, remarkable credentials, can't their remuneration be restructured and be retitled to reinforce the local government, instead?
