Retailers are selling full chickens, so why can’t they sell full pigs?
Shopper were left in utter shock when a picture of a full pig was posted on social media. Usually, whole pigs aren’t sold in stores at all.

A lot of people thought that it was just weird to sell full pigs. People just prefer buying pork that has already been chopped up for them, other than doing it for themselves.
Rugged people don’t mind chopping up their own meat, but normal don’t have time for all of that.
The picture of the pig was posted on Facebook by Emihle Zwane. She posted the picture on her Facebook page and left this caption, “They are selling whole chickens now. I told my little sister that this is Peppa Pig and she literally cried.”

The pig is sold at a retail price of R30k, it is ridiculously overpriced. So, I doubt that a lot of people will be lining up to buy the pig. I think that people will stick to buying pork chops or whatever pig meat they will need separately.
