This Is What Happened At The Beitbridge Border

An oil carrying truck fell in the Republic of Zimbabwe, the truck driver is fine...fortunately he did not get injured. We all know very well that and there is a problem in the trucking industry where South African citizens are fighting foreign nationals who are working under the South African trucking companies. South Africans feel like foreigners are stealing their jobs and they should be given the first preferencepreference. This is the real problem between foreign drivers and locals, the so called ATDF wants the SA registerd companies to put a first preference on them when hiring drivers.

Which is fair, but they say foreigners should use SA licences to drive here. The issue here is not about licences and PDPS' like they say its about the jobs. Now there are numerous companies outside the country who have SA registerd trucks on purpose because they normally come here to SA habours, get this clear they are registerd in SA but belong to other countries. They bring revenue to SA government by paying their taxes in SA. What the people should be fighting for is the jobs, this has nothing to do with licenses and PDP's. Coming to stealing of loads, yes they do steal just like the SA citizens as well no one is better there.
