Eskom_SA spent 𝗥𝟭.𝟱𝟰 𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 on diesel to keep the lights & still could not prevent stage 7 of load-shedding on 30 June 2022.
“State Capture” era spent 𝗥𝟯𝟮𝟬 𝗠 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟮 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 & managed to keep the lights on dependably. My question to you would always be this.why didn't you stop the load shedding before the arrival of Molefe ? I mean, you were the head of generation when you were suspended with those other executives? The head of Generation when I was suspended was Mongezi Ntsokolo.
The question should be, why do you come here to lie with a straight face. Don't expect to get an answer their chief because he can't lie anymore. When you were attending Primary School, you were given 50 cents for lunch. Is your Lunch still 50 cents today? Twenty years ago, A date cost you R50. How much does it cost you today?
He should talk about petrol based on liters not price money, Exactly. And even worse he should put everything in Context of the Environment and Politics at play.
80 million liters of diesel was burned in June alone to keep the lights on & still @Eskom_SA could not avoid stage 7 blackouts
Compare this to 10 million liters of diesel that was burned in 12 months during the “State Capture” & kept the lights on dependably. If you were to be asked to be CEO now. Would you go back? Will load shedding stop today or at worst how long will it take you to stop it? Can we have this conversation that we can take to a Positive Level. Maybe this is a Conversation we need to have as Mzansi.
Eskom or a any Big company is run by a team. We need solutions. Can we go beyond comments/debates. Obviously, anybody who is going there (not to work) but to implement a Solution will need all the necessary tools. And he will specify. Me?‘ I’m not shifting the goal posts’. I moved the engagement to a Higher Level. Because he decided to go to that level. And I’m still waiting. And it’s not me alone. We need to have that conversation. Two names always(Molefe/Koko). We require closure.
Maar my Elder brother can't you just accept your times at the helm of @Eskom_SA is over, potentially for now you should be teaming up with others to form an alternative competitor to this failed SOE? We can't be hearing the same thing timeously, it's like you miss your ex. I ain't fighting. Media and NGOs told us not to believe everything you say, Sir. We will wait for them to tell us to believe what you say. Until then, of bolela maaka. Your era was the worst ever, and the current leadership is the beat ever.
