Everything is expensive, the prices of this basic need has gone up again

South Africa is not in a very pleasant state right now, the country's economy is struggling way worse than everyone could have imagined. The past six months of the year have been of price increases of food, everyday necessities, petrol and electricity.

The price of petrol has gone up multiple times since the year began, almost every month the country had to adjust to a petrol hike. Its almost like the price of petrol goes up every month since the beginning of the year.

The bad news is that the price of petrol has gone up again, this shocker petrol hike is one of the biggest this year.

Motorists will pay more for petrol as of tomorrow, Petrol 93 will go up by R2.37, petrol 95 will go up by R2.57 per litre, Diesel (0.05% sulphur) up by R2.31, Diesel (0.005% sulphur) up by R2.30, illuminating Paraffin up by R1.66.There is more, Government will end the temporary reduction in the fuel levy next month as it announced a 10.6% increase in the gasoline price, pushing it to a new record.

This will affect everyone, from those that have cars to those who use public transportation and also affect food prices. Public transport prices will go up together with food prices because they are transported by vehicles that use petrol.

The cost of living is very high in the country, making it harder for people who are already struggling to make ends meet.
