OPINION | Another Zimbabwean has been appointed as the new CEO in a South African company

Tavaziva Madzinga is a Zimbabwean actuary and corporate executive, who was appointed as the Group Managing Director of Britam Holdings Plc, a financial services conglomerate headquartered in Nairobi, the Kenyan capital, with subsidiaries in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, Rwanda, Tanzania, Malawi and Mozambique ~ Wikipedia

According to NEWS24 Tava Madzinga has been appointed as the new CEO of Santam, and it is said that he will succeed Lize Lambrechts in the position from the first of July. Racists are hilarious, they dont even know the dude but they are already seeing doom. Show them Mr CEO that you are the big boss and also make the people of Zimbabwe proud. l applaud such but only that people are scared of a backlash even in appreciation, someone will be offended. It is true, the losers is us Africans who end up being divided, weak and poor. But surely all we seek is peace and love like brothers and sisters let us just forgive the weak in mind. Africa for Africans and prosperity to allOf course there might be someone who will say otherwise but proportionally the majority of Zimbabweans don't insult South Africans, just like majority SAns are not xenophobic as well. Those complaints can be overpowered by praise all I see is entitlement, looking at his CV, I say he is the better man for the job. It is clear that the Zimbabwean guy is experienced and has qualifications to back it up. The colour of the skin cannot collapse the company, please can we all try to be fair and show humanity as Africans. Arrogance on social media shows back wardness and intolerance especially in this day and age when most companies look at how you conduct yourself. Then one wonders if you are the perfect person to judge or assume, so it our time to accept the guy and give him a chancehttps://www.news24.com/fin24/Companies/Financial-Services/santam-appoints-new-ceo-20211201-2
