OPINION: There is Nothing Like Loadshedding But Foul Play Expected Behind it

https://www.enca.com/news/energy-expert-claims-foul-play-behind-sa-electricity-crisisI've been saying this for a while. Those independent power producers are behind this loadshedding, the politicians are also benefiting from thise crises. I remember when the president announced in parliament that municipalities that are in good standing can purchase electricity direct from independent power producers, 85% of the parliamentarians where celebrating. We are really taken for a ride here. It is worrisome how Eskom became weak in recent past years. Who knows all this power utility's underperformance comes from internal or political sabotage. If transnet and metrorail infrastructure can be vandalized like that across the country, also this might be a malicious act perfected to look like technical hitch

The load shedding is now too much and no one understands if its a faul play or it is a serious issue. Even our leaders are just quite about it, they are busy campaigning but they ignore the electricity matter, and they expect to get votes
